I see you are way more like buffet than I am. I am very conflicted over the reality of the SPY sporting such a high multiple and yet that is dominated by two handfuls of stocks while i have large positions in stocks like Baidu and Dell which have multiple in the low teens or less. or own stock that pay dividends in the 7-9% or 5.5% with inflation protection like Vail.

I like the asix suggestion very much . i added a lil more today. There have been a vast adoption of AI over the past two years, from what i can tell. My wife is using it extensively to help with presentations and I am using it to help with tax planning and getting quick info about stocks. Like the internet its hard for me to see it coming to a halt or slowing anytime soon. I can see a lot of therapeutic use for AI too. Unfortunately, I think it is already affecting colleges and universities. I am friendly with a couple of professors at the local university and they are both leaving/.retiring after having their salaries cut

It has other ramifications as more and more young adults continue to live with their parents. but then again a lot of empty nesters stayed in homes with a ton of additional space.

You guys remember “twist of fate” with Steve Martin?
Where he buys (hordes) gold coins.
I almost started doing that when gold was $1500 not too long ago. Inflation (devaluation) concerns.
I only bought one coin for $1500 or so several years ago. Although I did buy B (gold) mining company that just sat there all these years till recently.

In one hand I should finally learn to buy the momentum…. Buy more gold stocks instead of selling it here.

Looks like even monetary matters guys are going bullish…..seems like all the people I follow and respect thinks this will continue at least thru year end. Although Howell sees bond refinancing problem starting in 2026. Amount of debt that needs to be rolled over (refinanced)

Even though I’m up like like 20%+ with IWM (small caps) …instead of my usual sell here….do the reverse and buy some more is my current thinking. Same with gold stock (up 50% or so from when I bought 3-4years ago) not great cagr though.
