Here is how Apple innovates ...

If one can promote ensuing as leadership one only has to follow along within the parade.

All else is colouring, a vivid splash of tint.

Apple is an innovation desert, with a low growth rate, and a high P/E. Same old, same old.

With a billion customers who pay monthly for ancillary services. Those customers pay thousands to own their devices. They can charge and collect and the courts have upheld the legality of charging $20 billion to 1, count them, 1 Enterprise customer for the right to use the real estate in their walled garden.

They have a loyal following and a brand of " it just works better" perhaps due to the walls in that garden.

They own the press and can buy the courts to attack their rivals and enhance their brand.

Perhaps this is worth a higher multiple than that of a company whose main revenue stream is in a low growth over saturated consumer dependent mobile handset industry.
