ALL: here's briefing.com tech commentary for today re. DELL.

Techs could only defy the law of gravity (what goes up must come down) for so long... Tuesday's broad-based but orderly declines served to work off some of the near-term excess built into the sector from the recent DELL/MSFT/INTC gains... If recent history is an accurate gauge, selling won't last beyond midday today... At which time investors will put money back to work on the long-side.

After the close, Novell reported a gain of $0.04, two cents above estimates but $11 cents below year-ago levels... Bolstered cash/marketable securities to over $1 bln... Intuit posted a quarterly gain of $0.95 on a 3% drop in revenues... Results were in line with to one cent above estimates... Stock down 5/8 in after hours trading... For a full list of companies due to report earnings later this week/month, see Briefing's Earnings Calendar.
