BTW, if it helps for picking Thursday's winner, keep in mind how porous the Commanders defense is. I mean, they got really close to allowing the Giants a touchdown. Just figured I'd pass that tidbit on to folks who had the good fortune not to see that game.

Eli is a goat alright, see below. I'd have to check the box scores from those Super Bowls but my recollection is he didn't make mistakes, and one involved an improbable late catch. Also some neglect both of those teams had incredibly strong defenses. But hey, he won two Super Bowls and against TB12 and Bill B no less.

For the normal Eli, in any given season and within a season from game to game, the question was always which Eli will show up, the good or the bad? His career stats may average out but from game to game it was often good or bad with little space in between.
