GE Verona was once part of GE - but now GEV is a darling of Wall Street and the latecomers are buying it in droves. I bought it in meaningful size when JPM's Tusa was bashing GE in a weekly basis for years. I'm very glad that I did. Intel is the same right now - Lip-Bu Tan is exactly what the company needs. This is as far back as I can find right now (over three years ago), but I was buying GE well before this - and this was well before the spinoffs.
