I saw a video of the shooting. Too obscene to post, even here. Plus there's always the possibility that the video could have been altered by generative AI. (No, I don't deny that Charlie Kirk was shot. I just don't want to repost fake and/or obscene videos this early.) I also saw a picture of the suspect who was detained. It was an old white guy. I could guess what his motives were, but again, I'd rather not. Either way, this was crazy. Charlie Kirk isn't someone I agree with these days, but he doesn't deserve to be shot. I sure hope he survives. Based on what I saw thus far, chances of survival look iffy. Tenchusatsu EDIT: CNN reports that the shot was taken 200 yards away from a campus building. This wasn't some guy with a handgun near the front row, for what it's worth.
