Nothing is impossible. Perhaps they're saving it for the DCI SFA conference in Chicago next week. Vantive put out a press release today touting their wealth of SFA customers. Could have been an attempt to pre-empt any Siebel/MSFT announcement, or an attempt to create buzz before next week's conference. Who knows?

Amsterdam, I would venture your source is accurate. It is not unheard of for a press release to take longer than a contract negotitation by the time both companies can agree to an acceptable statement. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this take another week or more. Whatever the reason there are many people who have to be involed. Konehead---This must be that "responsiveness" you mentioned. Sure looks that way to me... Melissa
