I do play favorites. If a person has contributed charts and valuable content that helps others selflessly over the years here, they get a latitude over and above others who have not. It may be unfair, but it's how I've always rolled. It also serves to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

I didn't justify shooting him. That is not my position. If you read that, it's on you. I said mourning over him is unjustified because he never showed the same sympathy to others. These two positions are not the same thing. If he had been a thoughtful conservative thought leader who was not making his living off of giving extremist controversial views at the expense of the society, then I would have very much condemned it. For the record, while I very much disagreed with Neocons in their heydays, I also praised some of them fore being principled people. Which is to say, I separate my opinion of the person and of what is right or wrong from what I personally agree or disagree with.
