Brazil’s former far-right president Jair Bolsonaro ?has been sentenced to more than 27 years in prison for plotting a military coup? and seeking to “annihilate” the South American country’s democracy.

The chasm between Brazil and the US has widened. Trump has tried to interfere with the Brazilian legal process by his public statements of support for Bolsonaro, which were obviously intended influence the judicial verdict. Now what? I'm sure Trump isn't happy about this outcome.

Trump's influence world wide is beginning to wane. Not every country is lining up to kiss his ass. Will Trump exact a price on Brazil for this verdict?

We live in very dangerous unpredictable, unstable times.
