I'd be happy without the ads where, the happier the people cavorting in the ads get, so does the direness of the side effects. But the ugly fact, and the regimes motives come from, is that these ads finance CNN, MSNBC, etc. Fox can fall back on its owners fortune. Newsmuck and its fringe rivals will probably be collateral damage, and most of us won't miss them as Fox gets the right wing news monopoly.. But CNN and MSNBC will be desperately peddling airtime to sketchy late night type advertisers and eventually may go under.
