Heywood,
Christianity's fundamental concept is based on Christ's death.
A Christian celebrates victory, not death.

Christ's death led to victory over sin.

If PooTin's death leads to victory over the evil that he has brought to Ukraine and the rest of the world, then you bet your bottom dollar that I will celebrate that victory.

One more thing, Heywood ...
Yay Charlie! Thank you for dying for the second amendment!
I know you're being sarcastic, but MAGA is not. They are convinced that Charlie Kirk is a "martyr" for Christians everywhere.

Give. Me. A. Break.

No one should be a "martyr" for the Algore Rhythms.

If we are to ascribe any meaning to his assassination, we should use it as a wake-up call to denounce the Algore Rhythms.

At least that's what I'm going to do. Unfortunately, there seem to be very few who will join me. Probably because it's just too cryptic of a reason ...

You’re trying to be clever, but you’re missing the point entirely.

Christ’s death in Christianity isn’t “celebrated” the way you’re framing it, it’s revered. Christians don’t cheer because someone died; they honor His sacrifice because it was voluntary, redemptive, and followed by resurrection. Death wasn’t the end, it was the means to eternal life.

Charlie Kirk, on the other hand, didn’t die to redeem humanity. He didn’t die to forgive sins. To equate his death with Christ’s is a false comparison, bordering on mockery. If you want to critique his views on the Second Amendment, do it directly. But twisting theology to make a point about gun policy just shows you don’t understand either Christianity or Charlie.
