You can't make this stuff up.

If you spend any time on X, you will see that the left is now pushing the narrative that Charlie Kirk's assassin was actually a Republican because his parents were.

Those Antifa scribblings? Misdirection. The fact that he shot a conservative friend of the Trump family? It is part of a fascist conspiracy to start the civil war that the left has been calling for over the past decade.

Seriously, they are going with that.

Obviously, they don't expect most people to buy into this, but most people aren't their audience. What they are trying to do is reinforce a narrative in their cohort's minds to sustain the worldview that keeps them tightly together.

Calling out “fascism” every time you run out of arguments isn’t a mitzvah, it’s a tired Marxist reflex.

The only “natural selection” on display here is how quickly the Left defaults to insults when confronted with reality.

One nut-job doesn’t define a whole movement any more than the violent radicals on your own side define you.
