Nick, I'd wait a few days. There could be potential for a competing
offer. I'm not aware of any rumors, but maybe another one of the industrial automation vendors, such as Rockwell or Siemens may be interested. 1998 is expected to be a pretty strong year for WNDR types of products. Personally, although I bought WNDR last fall around 16-1/2, I'm not thrilled with the $24 offer. I was looking forward to enjoying the turnaround performance this year & feel that @ $24 the shareholders are being short changed. (All of this is just my opinion, of course)

Wait just a minute. It ain't over yet folks.

As shareholders, and more importantly Americans, are we all going to just stand by and let the Britts take the WNDR product, all it's customers, all the intellectual rights and know-how, and all the future profits for a mere $375 million? What's more, the people with access to WNDR systems know too many details about our manufacturing processes and productivity. Do we want to just serve this information up to our world-wide competitors?

The Britts are lauging their asses off right now at the bargain they got. Just check the price if Siebe stock this morning in London! Normally the stock in the acquiring company goes DOWN when they buy something big on credit. NOT IN THIS CASE! They look at this deal as another SAP.

Come on GE! You guys can shit $375 million! Forget B2s for now. Do some math on this.

WNDR has 75,000 installed Intouch nodes alone. You can have them and all the future support for only $5000 each?? And get the rest of the company and all the other products for free???? Wait just a minute. Let's think about this.

And what about you Rockwell? Fire the stupid analyst that told you AB would put WNDR under and think about this for yourselves!!

This is America. Put up a fight at least!

Let the games begin!
