University of Utah had Sponsored Lectures by ‘Armed Queers’ Socialist Militia September 26, 2023 The University of Utah’s LGBT Resource Center and a socialist student organization are sponsoring a lecture on “queer resistance” led by a socialist militia called the “Armed Queers of Salt Lake City,” according to a tip submitted through Young America’s Foundation’s Campus Bias Tip Line. The student organization co-hosting the event, “Mecha,” stands for 11 principles, including the “termination of oppressive systems” such as the free market and the “cis-heteropatriarchy,” and “the termination of land ownership,” among other very destructive ideas. yaf.org
