Madharry, I've a couple of speculative Canadian oil/gas stocks. My larger positions though are in Canadian oil sands producers CNQ and CVE. These are oil sands companies wherein there are presumably long-lived assets and no exploratory costs. They are dividend payers (with no Canadian withholding tax, of course, if held in non-taxable account). So far, these have not worked out positively for me, but I continue to stick with them.
