The haters are protected by the 1st Amendment...but their hate speech is NOT immune to the consequences of such HATE speech. If an employer doesn't want to hear it, he/she doesn't have to. If parents don't want their children to hear it or see it, they don't have to. If stockholders decide hate speech hurts their bottom line, they don't have to accept it. There are many other examples. There are plenty of lawyers to take the cases of hate speech possibly leading to further harm of an individual or class of individuals. Jail them if convicted or sue them for every penny. (like Dershowitz wants Trump to do to Rosie O'Donnell) Nobody is above the law...nor beneath it. Nobody deserves to be assassinated for their beliefs. It's actually pretty simple...at least to one side.
