It's a very old ICE car on it's last legs.

He told me the fuel gauge is intermittent and uses the mileage reset button when he fills up.

Roll the dice.

My old 1967 Mercury Cougar GT had a similar problem until I replaced the sender.

The first day I owned the car it ran out of gas indicating a 1/4 full. Luckily I was only a few miles from home.

4 speed, 335 HP 390 4 bbl Holly carb on top. The same ones used in the original Ford GT40's that won Le mons in the late 1960's.

Stock except for the Hurst shifter I installed to get rid of the sloppy FoMoCo shifter.

My college car that I rebuilt in 1970 the ground up. Just for WSU.

Go Cougs!
