It really depends how much of a push over people are going to be. Digital ID will also mean people would be able to push back faster and more efficiently when they don't agree with the government. I don't hold much faith on people getting smarter until things start getting worse from here. There are some signs that people are beginning to question the B/S though. Do not follow China's steps!
