Thank you Wharfie. It's interesting to see how you think and the incorrect basis for your thinking and yet you're willing for all the world to die because of your bung thinking. I've seen it before. Up close and personal. To the death. I've grown accustomed to it over decades so it's like gravity to me. Just another way in which the world works. If people go over a cliff they go splat. Even if they fantasized that they actually truly really could fly. I didn't know anyone thought sanctions would have no effect. The big difference is that many thought tough sanctions and bullying would cause collapse. Oops a daisy. The sanctions, including bombing the Nordstreams, has had a worse effect on the laughably named "free world". It's not surprising that many senators and others in Russia are keen to surrender. Same in many conflicts. Some people even want the other side to win. Kim Philby and friends in the cold war for example. Will you go all the way to your death with hundreds of millions of Americans and Euroserfs or will you recant at some level of escalation and cry "uncle"? My guess is that Putin threw the steering wheel out the window when he stood before a monument to war dead for several long minutes before the official invasion. I gulped in fear when I realized he was accepting the dare by USA to play chicken. Russia has been there before. USA has not. Eurostan seems likely to have revolution and civil war. USA is going broke quickly at $1 trillion every 100 days. USA has been in civil war for years with Trump and Charlie shot, riots burning looting, many murders, many jailed. I'm thinking the preppers maybe had a good idea. Mqurice
