Agree with your analysis of the analysts :-).

I too am long on BEAS March 25 calls. I'll sell them before the close tomorrow if I can get $2 for them. I'm also trying to buy some BEAS March 22.5 Puts, for the sell-on-news scenario.

But this time I'm not sure that this is the right strategy - the market has a lot of momentum and if BEAS makes good numbers, this would be their chance to make new highs.

Tomorrow will tell.

Right on! ... (about the analysts). I think the majority of analysts are boneheads who'd otherwise be selling used cars. If they truly new a good buy or sell opportunity, they wouldn't analysts. They'd be millionaires many times over and kicking back on the beach. ;) Anyway, my thought:

BEA can probably do .50/share for 1998, $32 mil profit on revenues of $170 mil. JMHO.
