You're right. It wasn't bags of cash. I got that wrong. It was cigar boxes of cabbage. Limbaugh's troubles began in 2003 after his former maid told authorities in Palm Beach, where the radio jock lives in splendor, that she sold him cigar boxes brimming with black-market OxyContin and other painkillers. In return, Wilma Cline said Limbaugh passed her cigar boxes stuffed with cash and - in code language - said, "Here's the cabbage." Limbaugh denied the story when it first appeared in the National Enquirer. But after the Daily News confirmed it, Limbaugh admitted he got hooked on painkillers because of a bad back and vanished from the airwaves for five weeks.
