Tenchu's Thoughts - Trump's H-1B Visa Tax Is Already Causing Damage *The Firehose of Chaos* And here we go, Trump starts another clown show thanks to his firehose of utter chaos: 'Indians pleaded to get off': Chaos on plane in US after Trump's H-1B shock \| Video (Hindustan Times) These Indians were set to travel abroad, either for business or personal reasons, then return back to America later on. However, they feared that they would be denied re-entry, so they GTFO of the plane just before it pulled from the gate. Meanwhile, it's been reported that Microsoft, Amazon, and JP Morgan ordered their employees who were on H-1B visas to immediately return to the United States before September 21, which is tomorrow as of this writing. They don't want to risk their employees having to deal with visa issues. I'm also hearing stories already of companies who have had to suspend job interviews because the candidates were H-1B visa holders. I'm also hearing stories from people who are H-1B visa holders that they should prepare themselves to get laid off. *Trump's Narcissism* To Trump, this is a real no-brainer. He obviously wants brown people to suffer. He wants California to suffer. And he wants to stick it to Indian Prime Minister Modi. Why? Because Mr. dEpArTmEnT oF wAr wants Modi to nominate him for the "Noble Peace Prize." It's completely petty, selfish, and chaotic. America cannot survive with such a "leader" messing up like this. Yet this mentally challenged narcissist is still supported by 40% of the American population because they don't give a shit. Why? *The Myths Surrounding H-1B Visa Holders* Because these losers think H-1B visa holders are costing rEaL aMeRiCaNs good-paying jobs. But that's wrong on so many levels. First, these H-1B visa holders bring skills that are often in short supply. High-tech employers are often looking for specific skill sets and a level of experience that fulfill short-term and mid-term needs. I guarantee you that these skills aren't abundant among the MAGA rednecks. Second, these H-1B visa holders are among some of the most hard-working and dedicated employees in the industry. I know because I've worked with many throughout my entire career of several decades. They are MUCH, MUCH better than the remote Indian workers who are often products of "degree mills" from their local universities and truly work for pennies on the dollar. And they compare very well to the U.S. citizens and permanent residents who work on the same projects. In other words, they are NOT the cheap-ass replacement workers that the U.S. nationalists think they are. They do good work, they benefit, and so does the U.S. economy. They are part of the reason why America still leads in high tech, even when compared to competitors like China who are trying to catch up. And third, yes, I'm sure some companies are abusing the H-1B visa system and using it to hire direct replacements for rEaL aMeRiCaNs doing the exact same job. But that's just something that needs to be fixed in the whole vetting process, especially given that the U.S. limit on H-1B visas is around 65K, with an additional 20K for those holding Master's degrees. That's the thing, though. The MAGA nativists don't want to fix it. They want to gut it. They want to destroy it. Because they don't like "foreigners" in general. Doesn't matter if they are unskilled workers or some of the smartest and brightest minds in the world. They have been brainwashed into thinking that "foreigners" are siphoning wealth out of America and tainting the gene pool of this nation. *The TACO Factor* Of course, the safest bet is to assume that Trump Always Chickens Out. No doubt guys like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and "Tim Apple" are going to the TACO Supreme Commander right now and trying to convince him to change his mind. No doubt they're going to tell Howard Nutlick to go fukk himself in the hallways of the White House. No doubt they're going to remind Trump that without the H-1B visa holders, America WILL lose its high tech leadership, which will no doubt harm our race against China. Alternatively, there could be a court injunction to delay Trump's $100K tax on H-1B visa holders, which will buy time until the Supreme Court can weigh in on the matter. But even if Trump reverses course, or is forced to reverse course, the damage is already done. Projects have been delayed. Indians are once again reminded that Trump wants them to GTFO. Many who were considering leaving will accelerate their plans, and many who were considering coming here will change their minds. Meanwhile employers will be MUCH less likely to hire H-1B visa holders given the uncertainty revolving around their legal status. Even if the Orange TACO changes his mind, who the fukk knows whether he'll change his mind once again? That means the existing H-1B visa holders, if they want to stay and continue working in America as long as they can, will be stuck in their current positions, which means their employers don't have to try hard and retain them. And even if Trump goes away after 3.5 years (or sooner, if God has any mercy on this nation), the fact is that 40% of Americans still support this absolute bullshit, and they will continue to vote for another Trump. Only next time, they'll vote for someone who isn't as incompetent or mentally deficient as the Cheeto Pedo. TUCK FRUMP ... again and again and again.
