Putin is a direct descendent of people who are used to pushing their weight around. Russians make very poor communists, Catholics and capitalists due to this genetic flaw inherited from their blood thirsty ancestors, they do however make bloody good Vikings. And yes, there was a provocation that triggered Putin to invade, he is however still the bad guy in the conflict and both sides are so hopelessly corrupt that they are beyond redemption.
