Very interesting action today: many "baby" blocks (5-7.5k) and NO usual "tank" after 2pm ......higher we go?

Why do the estimates edge lower? What has Fahnstock got to say?

Hummmmm....

I just perused MG's PDF file at Lehman. (Thanks for the URL's.) I am not a regular reader of MG, but based on prior summaries of his I have seen, this one seemed to have a more cautious tone. It is entirely possible that I simply read some of his earlier comments with a more optimistic eye.

Still... I wonder whether or not the caution regarding "overhanging shares and financing" could be something of a "hint" to RMTR from the financial community to get those to ducks in a row if they want to see any wholesale move up in stock price?

Probably not, I suspect if he wanted to send that message he would do so directly. 8-) Besides, if that lesson wasn't learned in '95 it would take more than hinting around to get the job done. :-)

Nevermind...

RE: DRAM performance chart and timeline, PC100, Alpha 21164PC review(ohne ESDRAM), Market Makers?

Some decent reference material in light of recent events:

It may not mean much now, because I think at the earliest, we won't see ESDRAM in quantity until Q3, but if ESDRAM eventually shows up in an Alpha system or any other system, Anand will probably be one of the first to put it to the test. He'll also be one of the first to get ahold of VIA's new Apollo MVP3 chipset which supports DDR SDRAM II, and apparently, RMTR is working towards producing DDR ESDRAM.
