that has nothing to do with what I posted. That is a working group to oversee and develop standard ways to incorporate AI into 5G technology. good goal, but not what I proposed. it is a policy implematation working group for AI deciding on standard ways that AI enhance things like RAN programming, channelizations, antenna mapping, etc.

more background on what I posted.

NVIDIA created an open source user community driven programming language that handles the complex programming of the NPU/GPU cores, both for graphics and for AI. while the NVIDIA chips are programmable, it is a highly complex and diffacult task if not for the underlying programming system called CUDA. Things like massive parralelsim, multipl thread managment, taking a complex algorithmn and breaking down into specific core driven threads. Prior to this languauge developed in the mid 2000's timeframe, the GPU was much harder to build applications on.

now that Qualcomm has this set of engines, such as the AI engine in snapdragong and this new more powerful HEX core, they would benefit from having an open source community that drives the programmability of these chips. they already have an LLM extension for HEX to allow you to program in C like code, but this would be an entire set of libraries that allow massive paralleism, tread management, etc.
