On 2/24, Wonderware (WNDR) agreed to be acquired by the British company Siebe PLC. Siebe owns Foxboro, which is a competitor in the control system arena to MORP's APACS system. APACS uses WNDR's FactorySuite as the front end of APACS and there is much concern over the long-term viability of that relationship, even though Siebe has reaffirmed its importance to them. There are other concerns that Siebe/Foxboro may now have access to Moore's controller technology due to licensing agreements, but I am not sure about this. Anyhow, this may be the reason for the turmoil.
