Trump wins either way with this case: 1) Comey tried and convicted. Trump has evened the score against him. 2) Comey found innocent. Trump shows the world that the Dems were incorrect in claiming Comey got Trump elected in 2016! 3) Case dismissed on motion for selective/malicious prosecution, case never sees a jury? Can't quite see how Trump wins when #3 happens. Help me out here, cuz I'm a betting person and I'll wager that's the outcome.

Even if Comey is found innocent, it doesn't mean that he wasn't at least partially responsible for Clinton losing the campaign. It was his announcement that hurt Clinton. Whether it was dispositive is debatable. But it isn't debatable to me that it affected the way some indeterminable number of people looked at her.

good god man... even MAGA news networks see this as what it is this is nothing but pure grievance retribution, and of course totally beyond what Nixon or any other POTUS ever did did you not see that Trump sacked the previous guy? (who he appointed) who said there was no case against Comey... so he then hired an insurance lawyer and beauty pageant winner to take over it's a totally bogus case... doesn't take a "legal expert" to see what's going on here and to see this will blow up in Trump's face... not that Trump cares, he'll just move on down the list of people who said bad things about him and they will be sent to the cornfield
