i went to a trade show years ago at the sj convention center, one of the presenters showed how "simple" it was to install fiber. i refer to the presenter as the "gingsu knife" installer. he sliced, diced, and within 2 minutes demonstrated how easy it was to terminate fiber, how the fiber nic cards were going to compete in price,... needless to say 8 years later, i am continue to my vigilance and wait for fiber to the desktop. i am just happy i decided not to stage a hunger strike until fiber replaced utp to the desktop.
