This is for an 8 sq meter order off a website. The slk for example used 1 sq meter total for the roof. 5k sq meters is almost certainly much cheaper for 5k cars etc.

Gauzy has gone in with their eyes wide open…. I would love to hear their views on this….

So rounding off $1000 for 2 layers of PET-ITO, 1 layer of SPD plus the cost of laminating, the electrical connections and the glass, what was Mercedes paying Pilkington that let them market the SLK roof at $1250?

Seems to me, unless Pilkington was using a lower grade PET, the tier one glass suppliers must get a huge discount on the high-grade stuff

Or maybe Mercedes was taking a loss on MSC? None of it makes sense.
