David Colvin, Your post really warms my heart. Such a solid guy, bought into IOM when it was scary to do so and stuck through all the rip-roaring runs up and down as well as the incredible boring lulls where nothing after nothing happened. To: AARON EPSTEIN (CHKK22A) From: BRUCE FELTON (NSCV24A) Time: 02/28 2:15 PM I ordered one and used it for about two weeks ...worked great but had bearing noises so I returned it. Got my new drive yesterday and it worked for about 15 min. and then destroyed a disk with about a full gig. of backup data. Weird grinding noises and vibrating then nothing ... won't work at all. Now I have to return this drive and all my disks since I wouldn't dare to insert them in a new drive. I'll try once more but have a lot of doubt. I would like to hear from anyone with sucess with the SperQ. When I saw the drive I figured it would take over the market so I bought Syquest stock ... now I guess I had better sell before I loose the whole investment !
