Burt, Personally, I believe (and practice) fundamental and technical analysis...together...and don't consider this schizo. At times a chart pattern alone is enough to take a position in absence of any fundamental data but but this is more often not the case as I'm just too curious to commit money without knowing some fundamentals. Then again, I refer you to my last note to Derek...TA can help even long term investors...buy on dips...and in the case of a Paul Engel...what better a present than a historical chart of Intel as a picture of just how far those pennies have grown from the 70's... <G> Jim
