"McCarthy's hearings were in the news." The news was ABC, CBS, NBC, and that was it. I think all 3 covered the hearings.

Brave new world. Trump sure is tearing this country apart, and now like all dictatorships he is taking control of the military!! He already has the congress and the courts. Then he represses the free press. He uses law suites and intimidation. Then takes control of the military and intimidates the people with them e.g. ICE, National guard and now active military personnel. He says he wants to use the cities to train the military. Of course he means Democratic cities to squash the liberals and minorities. This is all text book dictator military coup junta stuff! And textbook Putin.
