He is on a temporary ban, others will follow if it continues. However, I do understand how political decisions do in fact have an effect on our investments. I suppose there is a thin line between expressing a political view vs how political views affect our investments. I didn't get online until late today and the back and forth rhetoric was already in play. A request to be banned was already in my mailbox. If I had been online earlier, I would have said something about it. My response would have been to take it private please. The PM feature works fine. If you have any suggestions on how the board should be monitored, then kindly send me a private message expressing such suggestions. Your thoughts and contributions are always welcome.

I don't know of anyone trying to get SQ banned but we all know this is far from an isolated incident. It's happened repeatedly and for some time. Except in this case nothing happened. He made a very general comment about the direction of the government over the past 20 years and the possible impacts of this direction on the economy. Here's what he didn't do: Name any individual. Name any political party. Tell anyone to vote for or against anyone. Accredit what he was saying to any political party or movement. The time period he discussed covers a period when each of the major political parties has been in power. What was political in it? He has from time to time brought politics into discussions here. This was not one of those times. It appears to me that you are very vested in finding a "gotcha" moment to call SQ out on, even when nothing is there. I don't really care what your personal animus is with him except when your actions disrupt the board. However it's obvious to me what's going on here. Chowder, this message is directed to you as the board emcee, but I am not posting this on just my own behalf. If it was directed towards Chowder then a private message should be sent. You directed it toward the entire group.
