That has no bearing on the trade position. Everything that I bought went up 10-% - 20% in the last 2 days and it may still keep going up. Most people would be happy with a 20% return in a year. I'm making it in days.

I've never seen a point in taking a 10 year perspective on a position. I do spend time figuring out the fundamentals, valuations, and investment timeframes. But too many things can happen from month to month, let alone in 10 years.

LAC jumped up today because the government took a 5% position in them. I was really surprised by that. Didn't people know about it last week? That's what moved it. I would have thought that this would be a sell the news situation, especially since a 5% position is half the size of others. But it went up 30+% Who could have predicted that? Just the same, a few shares landed in my portfolio anyway because I had buy orders on a move whether it goes up or down.
