Dan, rumors of buyout have swirled since IBM bought Lotus. The question remains why would anyone want NOVL when they were foundering so and losing the battle against the big bad MSFT. NOw, with their house slowly starting to get in order, they may become more attractive. Don't forget, they still have that $1 Billion in cash. I really don't see a takeover of NOVL though, think the stock needs to establish an up pattern and get above 12-14. Needs to do what UIS did, not what NOVL has done consistenly in the past - that is disappoint. I am not yet a believer that this is "the real thing" - have been burnt too often by this puppy. larrry
