E...well, what exactly is 'your' definition of a genius...

I'm not say he is and not saying he isn't....as far as I'm concerned there isn't only one type of genius...

What I do say, there are very, very, very few people that can meld all of the skill sets that Musk has.

Musk is no genius.
Sure he is. As I've previously pointed out, no one in 100 years has been able to do even a small part of what he's done. Leave the rockets out. Consider Tesla his entire body of work. I know of no one during my lifetime who has come close. And even going back for maybe 100 years.

A person who leads the entire, world, automotive industry while doing the same in the rocket industry, is by any reasonable metric, one of the top genius minds in the world.

Unless you refuse to consider not just talking, but doing, as part of that raw intellect. Walter Isaacson, his biographer, literally referred to him as a genius in application of first principles, which is apparent. If you think that's not hard to do in a systemic way, then you might never have tried it. It is really difficult to design something entirely new without being unduly influenced by preconceived ideas. I've done it software development and it was impossible to do it while meeting any kind of schedule. People are criticized for the practice of it, but there are many situations where it is essential to getting to the end of a project.

I mean, you don't have like the guy, I suppose, but you have to respect his accomplishments, imo.

Do you feel like maybe your objectivity has been compromised on the subject?
