Well, I don't know whether there is enough semi designs that are open source to train the model. But once there is, I would think this is a prime area for AI to commoditize. Think about analog chips. They supposedly have a shelf life of 20-30 years, and ADI gets 65%-70% gross margins. Why so high? Some competitor should make a similar analog chip, and sell it with a 5% gross margin, and just keep their expenses low. Some day.....
