Sorta funny but not.

You know those McMansions we have in the US? A friend and engineer who lived in Houston told me around 2010, that during the summer, every time someone opened their front door, about $ 5 worth of AC was vented into the Houston summer heat. Those houses have grand entrances with a high column of air at the front entrance. Electric prices are higher now.
