We are at an inflection point in our social evolution that Trump injected steroids to. We evolved for thousands of years subordinating myth to reason, as Will Durant said of the ancient greeks, and now we are having to subordinate facts to fiction, as well as myth to reason. And it has divided us between those that can and will follow facts and reason, and those who can't, or won't. In Finland they teach their school kids to separate fact from fiction. That sort of forward thinking is what makes them such a fine country. In this country the world looks at us as a criminal state, lying and untrustworthy extorting the world. And we look to be set for four years of this horror and destruction of our country, where total fiction is running our country, and it is malevolent fiction!!
