The drivers for QCOM near term would be a recovery in the car market as they have a decent foot hold in the connected car space. It is directed more at the premium car market though and consumers are tapped. $100K for a premium truck is mis-reading the market right now.

AI services on mobile handsets is number 2. Though it is still too early to see if there is traction, Apps that create videos from images and prompts seem to be catching on. If consumers are not willing to pay for it directly for connected services then the Snapdragon integration with GPU and TPU takes on more importance in doing it locally. Same for more advanced health monitoring. I can't see any other Apps that would drive demand yet.

There is only muted demand on the PC side. QCOM has created very energy efficient designs but except of a handful of travelling execs and travelling nomads, everyone else can wait till their current laptop wears out. I posted a video early about how the messed up the launch. Too little in terms of confirmed customers, no actual products and no wow factor.

I still like the company they are just not in a hyper growth cycle currently and their patent portfolio is getting mature. The early CDMA and related patent are getting close to expiring if they have not expired already. They are still generating lots of patents but the end markets are not as robust.
