If the foundation of 7 was damaged, it would have a similar failure mode. I cannot think of a logical reason the US government would participate and/or cover up some well coordinated diabolical masterminded plan that kills 3000 people. Building 7: World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) was located immediately north of the main World Trade Center complex and collapsed on September 11, 2001. While the 47-story skyscraper was not hit by a plane, it was significantly damaged by debris and fires that resulted from the collapse of the North Tower (WTC 1). Key facts about the WTC 7 collapse: Location: The building was situated across Vesey Street from the main plaza of the Twin Towers. Cause of collapse: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) conducted a three-year investigation and concluded that uncontrolled fires, fueled by the debris from WTC 1's collapse, caused the structure to fail. Time of collapse: WTC 7 collapsed at 5:20 p.m. on September 11, 2001, almost seven hours after the Twin Towers fell. Casualties: There were no fatalities in the collapse of WTC 7. Occupants had evacuated hours earlier due to the attacks on the Twin Towers, and emergency workers were ordered to abandon the building before it fell.

"Why would the planes have to hit the the exact floor where the explosives were?" If you watch the collapse of the buildings hit by the planes, you will see the top section of the buildings fall first right where planes hit. So, if explosives were used, they would have had to be in that area. The impact from the top of the building took down the rest of the building. If you watch Bld 7 collapse the implosion starts at the hot side next to WTC-1. It was only a few hundred feet away from the hot debris of a huge collapsed building. Try to imagine the pile of rubble from WTC-1...immense. It's not unreasonable to believe Bld 7 was damaged after WTC-1 collapse. Fortunately, it was evacuated...for that very reason. Just throwing out thoughts on it. I've seen you post a few times regarding it and wanted to share alternative considerations. Cheers!
