Re: There’s an inverse relationship between price and yield. I wouldn’t wait for a lower yield

I get it, but one of my objectives is capital preservation. The yield means nothing if my capital losses end up being larger than the yield.

RE: PDI " I have a 16% LTC gain in PAXS. It’s time to cash that out and put the money into PDI, for the higher yield and zero ROC. It’s the better fund."

Why do you prefer ordinary income to ROC? ROC turns ordinary income into long term capital gains if held 1 year.

The 16.77% premium would make it a non starter for me. They need to earn 15.52% on nav to pay that 13.29% distribution. Those premiums can disappear quickly in a down market. Look what happened with the quick downturn in April.
