I made the same mistake with META , in my case I listened to the wrong talking heads.
Listening to any talking heads is dangerous for your financial (and other) health!
But I will say the share structure with META always irritated me.
In Sweden, we have had A and B class shares for 100+ years. I do believe it was the Wallenbergs that introduced A/B shares; I do believe they did it when they founded Investor in 1916. Closed end mutual funds such as Investor (and Investor in particular) have been very influential on the Swedish stock market. As a result, many if not most of the Large Cap stocks on the Stockholm exchange have A and B shares. I think of it as quite normal and, indeed, as a quality stamp of sorts.
