Lest we forget; about 90% of ARM shares are held by one person. If ARM has hit a plateau with little prospect for long term appreciation, will he sit there with his 90%, or will he decide to unload? If the latter, ARM could be in for a fall, assisted by a worldwide slump in demand for semiconductors for phones, laptops, and AI applications. Put options are a type of insurance against such an event, but at a premium that could eat heavily into any profits. A less risky strategy would favor selling covered call options with expiration at least six months from now, and a strike price above the current ARM share price.
