I got the polio vaccination, plus a number of other vaccinations, but not Chicken Pox or Measles. As a kid in my day there was no readily available vaccine so everyone got both Chicken Pox and Measles. When my kids were growing up they were offered the MMR vaccine. There was a significant "anti vax" movement back in the 90's. I studied the data as best I could and, with my partner, made a decision that we would give our kids the MMR vaccine which they took and things panned out OK. Knowing what I know today, and finding out how the medical profession has been compromised by "Big Pharma", I would find those decisions much harder to make. I didn't need a scumbag like Boris Johnson or any other politician, or any media lies and misrepresentations to help me make those decisions. That would have been a red marker for me straight away. Same with any parent, they don't willingly give up on their kids. One of my daughters was born just before Chernobyl too. I have talked about that before. Had to use my experience & analysis skills to navigate that one as well.
