I appreciate Trench, just like I appreciate koan.

Both of them are science groupies of the faith-based variety, awed by scientists the same way a medieval peasant might gaze at the village priest, convinced he can turn water into wine, and wine into weather.

One can only assume koan was in a drug-induced state when he quoted Sartre, later denied ever saying it, and had his post removed. To this day, he doesn’t realize he was quoting Sartre and still believes someone hijacked his account.
