Like always, the threat is in what's next. V2X is potentially tied into all that Qualcomm has done in automotive. Replacing Qualcomm chips and AI functionality is what it's all about and doing another Nortel here can never be discounted. That's the nature of software, especially well distributed software and even more especially that which runs upon well distributed hardware. It's not now, it's now plus X. ps You are right about this being a non sequitur as to today. Stocked inventory of some form has already likely happened.
