Tsunami threat issued as magnitude 7.8 quake strikes off tip of South America

Seems like the Pacific "Ring of Fire" has really gotten active lately. Multiple large quakes off Kamchatca and the Philippines, and now this one in South America. They're all supposedly not related, but I sure hope that the Cascadia Subduction Zone isn't next. That one WILL cause a tsunami when it breaks..
