Sun still looked down on him ....because he was Cantonese.... just a bunch of farmers.... I never forgot that

That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. How differently they rightly see themselves -- but we can not see.

I can tell you, the biggest mistake you can make in person is to ask a Korean if they are Japanese, or visa-versa. Many historical geo-warring reasons. They expel the idea that they are any way similar. We are Japanese!!! Koreans are also proud, but as a fought over dick between China and Japan over centuries, they just got used to being a battle ground. It also made them tough.

I got my black belt in Taekwondo in Korea. Two to three lessons per day for three years. Had to spar with Korean studios as part of getting belts. Not like the pussy shit to get belts in the US.

Thing is talking about differences in a world that the west could see as the same. Koreans are tough sons of bitches. Japanese are pussies. I thought that when I went to Japan, that their Karate would be like Korean Taekwondo. Turns out no one, I mean no one, in Japan knows Karate. Everyone in Korea knows Taekwondo. They all had to go into military service for two years. Probably first or second level black before that. Bad asses.

Japanese just have movies about someone that used to know karate. One Korean could take out five Japanese.
