The road block to a trade deal is most likely Carney's carbon tariffs which he refers to an import "carbon adjustments". THE only way the carbon scientology can be pushed aside in the short term is for the budget to be defeated, followed by a conservative majority. Sadly, Canadians are saddled with another 4 years of minority Liberal madness supported by the ND's. My fingers are crossed that Carney's budget triggers sufficient Albertans to vote for independence. By the way, the UCP AGM is coming up late November. It will be interesting to see if the UCP membership votes for the independence slate of directors. Vive L'Alberta Libre. The rest of Canada can have all the Carney they want. Albertans don't want any of it.

That article is an opinion piece and is worthless. It speaks in circles, but finally comes to the conclusion that we must partner with the US. There are two ways to partner. Cheapen our goods and exchange rate so even with addition of the tariffs (which will remain despite the lawfare) we are competitive, or become another state(s). Canadians may soon realize it is easier just to become another state(s). The world needs Trump's US, and everyone is realizing it, except for a few liberal idiots.
